About the event
Navaratri is nine days when we thank the female principle of nature and the goddesses connected to them. Evenings and nights were chosen as the ideal times to celebrate this festival. On one night, on Ashtami, a Jagran is also dedicated to Mata Ji and this is where devotees stay up all night, singing the goddesses praises. This is also performed at the Mandir in Walsall.
